PART II - WISCONSIN’S THREE MILITARY FORTS - This ten minute-plus section deals with Wisconsin’s three forts and the reasons why they were situated where they were, being part of a larger plan by the United States’ Army to build military forts on key waterways throughout the territory.

PART III - THE OLD MILITARY ROAD - This ten-minute-plus section of the video deals with the reasons for building the Military Road. The Native Americans had mined lead in the southern part of the state for many years before lead was discovered in Potosi in 1829. Lead miners needed a good road to ship lead and many of Wisconsin’s important leaders felt that a good road was necessary to increase economic opportunities.

PART IV - THE MILITARY ROAD SESQUICENTENNIAL WAGON TRAIN (MRSWT) - This six-minute-plus section deals with the making of the Military Road Sesquicentennial Wagon Train. It briefly explains how the train was organized and who participated, how funds were raised to support the train,a nd the cooperation required from the communities along the route to provide campsites, hay and water for the horses, food for the participants, and publicity, historical lectures, and entertainment for the public and the participants.

PART V - THE JOURNEY - This forty-five minute-plus section of the video shows actual footage of the MRSWT across the state. It includes impressive footage of horses, wagons and costumed participants and tells each day’s history.

Created in cooperation with the Port of Green Bay. This video tells the history of the Port of Green Bay from Native American times to present-day challenges for the port.

“A COMING TOGETHER” - ONEIDA WHITE CORN HARVEST - DVD - (56:40). Created in cooperation with Tsyunhehkwa, Oneida Life Sustenance Project. This video deals with the Oneida White Corn Harvest and what it means to the Oneida People and to the public which helps in the harvest. A very positive look at the Oneida People, what they have to offer, and the progress that they continue to make.
